The location was absolutely mind-blowing, with a brilliant mix of tranquility and accessibility to all the popular/touristy spots. It was so refreshing to be in an area with fewer tourists, yet still have numerous amazing dining, shopping, and drinking options. The little balcony facing the cozy square was a super bonus, despite some noise during the day and night. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the room airy and clean with everything working perfectly. The abundance of high-quality towels and hot water was a pleasant surprise, and there were no strange bathroom smells. I loved the thoughtful gesture of a bottle of cava in the fridge, and the fridge itself was immaculately clean. The flat was tidy and conveniently located not far from the metro, making it easy to explore Barcelona's attractions and even take a decent walk to the beach. The free bottle of chilled cava upon arrival was a jaw-dropping welcome surprise, especially with the outside terrace offering an excellent awning to keep us rain-free on a couple of nights. The 80's Scarface-inspired decor, with its marble, smokey mirrors, and black leather furniture, gave the place a unique character that brought a genuine smile to my face. The compact yet functional layout was perfect for me as a solo traveler, with a cozy double bed and a distinctive tiled bath in the bathroom that easily accommodated two adults. The lively Gracia neighborhood location was a major plus, although the proximity to two schools did bring extra animation during the day. Nighttime was peaceful, as expected. this modest yet incredible value accommodation offered an excellent location, close to the breathtaking Passeig De Gracia and within walking distance of the center of town. The extremely kind and helpful host made my stay even more enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend this affordable accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city.
